Beach towels can be a bit of a pain when you’re a plus size person. A typical beach towel is 152 x 76cm, which is oversized for a straight sized person but can be a squeeze when you’re plus size. We believe in everybody being comfortable, which is why we decided to look for the best bright, fun beach towels that are available in bigger sizes.

This towel is available in 160 x 90cm which means that it is able to be used by many more people than the average beach towel, which scores it even more brownie points with us.
The Genovega Towel
This microfibre towel from Genovega is available in a range of different designs, but each one is just as bright and beautiful as the last. Not only can you be sure that you’re going to be laying out the coolest beach towel on your next holiday, but at 186 x 90cm, this towel will be suitable to wrap around more plus size bodies, adding another level of comfort to your beach holiday. This towel costs £18.97, but is available in 13 gorgeous designs.
Dock and Bay
If you’re ready to live out your pastel rainbow beach fantasies (and aren’t we all?!), then this Dock and Bay Unicorn Waves towel is for you. The colours on this towel are absolute perfection, and at 200 x 90cm, this towel shares the top spot on our list for having the best available sizing. The bigger size and adorable design comes with a price tag though, and this towel is the most expensive on our list at £24.
Fit Flip Beach Towel
The Fit Flip Towel is a really unique and interesting addition to this list, as not only does the towel – which comes in five different colour schemes – go up to a size 200 x 90cm, but it has press studs on the corners so that you can secure your towel to your chair (or yourself!) and be sure that it isn’t going to blow away. This towel costs £16.99, making it a much more affordable option than our other 200 x 90cm suggestion, while also offering the reliability of the press stud system.
Fun XL Beach Towels for Plus Size Travellers: Turkish
Large Turkish Peshtemal Beach Towels (Pack of Two!)
If you’re not a fan of the feel of microfibre towels or you’re looking for something a little thicker, these Turkish Peshtemal Beach Towels are a fab alternative.
